GetYour9 ("we", "us", "our") operates the website at getyour9.app and the GetYour9 Telegram Mini App (collectively, the "Service"). GetYour9 provides AI-powered IELTS speaking practice and mock exam simulations.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Account Information
- Email address and password (for email/password sign-up)
- Telegram user ID, first name, and username (for Telegram sign-in)
2.2 Usage Data
- Practice session metadata (duration, exam stage, timestamps)
- AI-generated feedback and band scores
- Session transcripts (your spoken text and AI responses)
- Token usage and subscription status
2.3 Audio Data
During practice sessions, your microphone audio is streamed in real time to our AI service for conversation. Audio is processed transiently and is not stored by default. You may opt in to audio storage in Settings for review purposes; stored audio can be deleted at any time.
2.4 Payment Data
Payments are processed by our third-party payment processor (Polar). We do not store your full credit card number or bank details. We receive only a transaction reference, plan type, and payment status.
2.5 Automatically Collected Data
- IP address, browser type, device type
- Pages visited and interaction timestamps
3. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and improve the IELTS practice Service
- To generate AI-powered feedback on your speaking performance
- To process payments and manage your subscription
- To send transactional communications (e.g., payment confirmations)
- To detect and prevent fraud or abuse
- To comply with legal obligations
4. Third-Party Services
We share data with the following categories of third-party providers:
- Payment Processor (Polar) — receives payment details necessary to process your transactions.
- Hosting & Infrastructure — our servers and databases are hosted on cloud infrastructure with industry-standard security.
- Telegram — if you sign in via Telegram, we receive your public profile info as authorized by Telegram's platform.
We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
5. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Session transcripts and feedback are retained to provide your progress history. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us at support@getyour9.app.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
